Building Blocks Afghan Class
"Building Blocks” is a series of 12 fun patterns that will build your knitting skills. Starting with simple knit and purl stitches, your confidence will grow as you progress through several major knitting principles. Each block focuses on new stitches and techniques in a sequential fashion that “builds” upon the previously learned skill.
At the end of the series, the knitter is rewarded with an abundance of knitting know-how and 12 beautiful squares to assemble into a sampler afghan, baby blanket, pillows or anything limited only by your imagination!
This is an extensive commitment of time, but you will come out on the other side a fantastically improved knitter. Shop manager, Jessica Jones, took this class when it was offered 3 years ago and credits it with giving her the skills and confidence to tackle any pattern her heart desired.
"I wouldn't be the knitter I am today without having taken this class." ~Jessica
